Glider or Electric Fuselages
Available
The Simply-the-Best is a proven
Competition Winning design, which has dominated HLG and Speed
400 Electric competitions in the last few years. The HLG freak
will enjoy the outstanding performance of this model. The Electric
version has proved to be "The model to have" in 400
Electroslot Competitions in the UK. The GRP Kevlar fuselage has
additional Carbon fibre strengthening. The tailplane mounting
tubes are installed and the GRP canopy is fitted. The Three-piece
wings are constructed in an open rib structure from selected
balsa. Each rib is capped with a carbon fibre cap strip. The
Kevlar D box, carbon fibre spar and solid carbon trailing edge
produce a wing which is not only extremely light in weight but
has outstanding torsional strength and rigidity. The Selig 4083
wing profile produces a superb glide angle and gives good penetration
with little height loss despite the low overall weight. The wings
are covered in Oracover Light and are totally finished. The Vee
tailplane halves are built and covered, the elevators have live
hinges and the joiners are fitted. The model only requires the
installation of the radio control and electric flight equipment
to complete it. The model is easily transported with its bolt
on wings and removable tailplane. The model can be powered by
an inexpensive Graupner Speed 400 geared motor or one the new
280 size Brushless motors.Glider or Electric Fuselages Available
