Big Picture
Saga - SAL HLG.
The Saga is the first Side arm Launch HLG (SAL HLG) to go into
regular production. Following the outstanding success of our
"Simply the Best" and "Simply Cool" models
we have introduced a completely new design for HLG competitions
(F3K class). This new model has been specially developed to allow
the accomplished pilot to adopt the latest launching technique
of Side Arm Launching to gain even more height on the launch.
With a wingspan of 1,5m and a flying weight of approximately
290 g. the model is one of the lightest in its class. The MH
32/7% wing profile and full span Ailerons produce an extremely
manoeuvrable model, which can be flown in a wide range of conditions.
The Carbon D-Box, Carbon Spars and Carbon Capped Ribs combine
to produce an extremely strong, stable and rigid wing.The hybrid
mix of Kevlar and Carbon produces a fuselage that is not only
is light but extremely stiff. The model is controlled via Aileron,
Elevator and Rudder allowing the model to be centred in the smallest
of thermals. The model is easily transported with its two-piece
wings.
