NOVUS Abachi An exciting new design from FVK.As a pure Thermal glider or Electric glider this high performance all-round model will fulfil your dreams with its outstanding performance from the flat field or the slope. The MH 32 wing section combined with the full span camber changing flaps produces a model with an extremely wide speed range and excellent handling characteristics. The Crow brakes allow safe descents out of the thermals with accurate and easy landings. With its excellent thermal soaring capability the model is ideally suited as an introduction to the F3J class.The robust fuselage with removable nose cone and canopy is moulded in Glass Fibre, the canopy is trimmed to fit and the sternpost is fitted. The three-piece epoxy strengthened foam veneer wings have a near full span spar system and the GPR wing joiners fitted. The Flaps and Ailerons are pre-cut and have live hinges incorporated in the structure. The servo wells are machined to suit the Robbe-Servo-Lock system (not supplied), the servo cable ducts are installed. The wing is attached to the fuselage with two screws. With its excellent thermal soaring capability and roomy fuselage, the model is ideally suited as a large electric soarer designed for up to 16 of the 4/5 SC cells. The NOVUS Abachi is an ARTF (Almost Ready to Fly) kit and is delivered assembled and covered only requiring the installation of R/C equipment and Electric flight equipment where appropriate. Available with either Glider or Electric fuselages.
