Are you looking
for something fast...? Something really fast. ..? Then maybe
you should fly the Boomerang, you could find that your definition
of "Fast" could quickly change. Even with a low cost
Speed 400 - 6V motor and 10 x 500 AR cells, you will have a similar
speed to a 2 metre Hotliner, with a drive costing a few Hundred
Euros. Fit a Brushless motor, and speeds in excess of 200 km/h
are no problem ...(for the model). Pure speed is not the only
talent of the Boomerang. Designed for the 400 Pylon class the
model is outrageously manoeuvrable. Dependent on the speed and
power of the drive unit, a roll rate of more than 600° per
second is possible with turns in excess of 20 G.
