Big Picture
The ASW 24 is a Semi Scale Mini
ASW glider, developed from the classic FVK Mini Scale range of
gliders. The MH32 profile makes the ASW 24 a delight to fly.
Despite it's small size the model is smooth and agile, giving
the impression in flight of a much larger model and is a joy
to fly on any slope. The white GRP fuselage and clear canopy
has the wing joiner tube installed. The fuselage is complete
and only requires the installation of the R/C equipment. The
Obechie veneered foam wings are machined to accept mini servos
mounted directly in the wings. The wing joiner is fitted in the
wing, the ailerons are cut and hinged and the wings are covered
in Oracover. The two-piece wings and removable tailplane make
the model easy to transport. With the electric fuselage, the
model can be flown even on windless days. The electric version
is suitable for speed 400 motors or the new 280 sized Brushless
motors. This semi scale model is delivered completely covered
with the decals already applied.
